My job is a bit dangerous, am I still insured?
My job is a bit dangerous, am I still insured?

What if I am in the military / work on an oil rig / a scaffolder / a magician's assistant, does this invalidate my insurance?

The only specific occupation exclusion we have is for military service. If you die whilst on active duty (and this includes reserve / voluntary forces) then unfortunately you are not covered.

The other thing to bear in mind is that we have some exclusions related to dangerous stuff, so if your job includes any of these, then you also are not covered.

Check out your plan documents to see the list of Dangerous things.

If you've not signed up yet, click on the link here and scroll down to the bottom of the page to see The DeadHappy list of extremely dangerous things.

If you have any questions about any of them specifically, then please hit us up on the online chat or email us at [email protected].
