Yes you can.

What is Direct Debit?

A Direct Debit is an instruction from you to your bank or building society that lets us collect an agreed amount of money every month, meaning you don't have to worry about missing payments.

How long does it take to set up a Direct Debit?

It usually takes 6 days to set up a new Direct Debit.

Before we can collect any payments from you by Direct Debit, you have to sign a mandate. This is an agreement which gives us permission to take payments from your bank accounts and it looks like this:

We’ll immediately send this mandate to your bank so they can set things up at their end. Your first payment is usually collected 5 days later, but can take longer in some cases.

Why can’t I choose my payment date?

The day you set up your plan is the day we’ll attempt to take payment each month. If you’d like to change this this article tells you how.

Usually, a Direct Debit payment takes three working days to go through and it works like this:

Day 1: We make a request to your bank for payment

Day 2: The payment is processed by your bank

Day 3: Money is transferred and payments settled

How do I cancel?

You can cancel your plan at any time, just log in to your Happy Place and click the link to 'STOP MY PLAN'

If you cancel whilst a payment is in process, you might see the payment appear on your bank statement, please allow 3-5 business days for any refunds to show up in your account.
