The reason most life insurers don't accept people with mental health issues is because of the risk of suicide. It seems a bit bonkers to us to cover suicide, but then not accept those deemed to be most at risk of it... We take a slightly different approach.

Firstly, we accept virtually all mental health conditions as standard.

Secondly, suicide is definitely not covered for the first 12 months of your plan. After that, it depends on circumstances, but we try and include it where we can. We will review the suicide clause every year on your anniversary date as part of your annual 'refresh'
